Contracting with the American Embassy of Tashkent (PDF 345 KB)

It has come to our attention that several local companies/organizations are receiving emails with the subject Request for Quotations (RFQ – PDF 1 MB) for solar generators.

The emails are sent from embassy@tendersdept.com and claim to be from the U.S. Embassy Tashkent.

This is a fraudulent email and the U.S. Embassy did not send it.

Spam email can contain viruses or links to malicious websites.  The Embassy recommends:

  • Do not click on any links, images, attachments contained in the email
  • Do not respond to this email.
  • Do not forward this email.

In the future if you receive a request for quotations or solicitation from the U.S. Embassy, you can check if it’s legitimate by viewing the U.S. Embassy Procurement Office’s official website or contacting the Procurement Office on +998(78)-120-5450.
