According to the program requirements, the eligible applicants must be currently teaching at secondary schools, academic lyceums and vocational colleges. You are not eligible to participate as you must be currently employed at one of the eligible institutions.

As it is stated in the official announcement, the complete application, the hard copies, must be delivered to Embassy in Tashkent. We don’t accept electronic applications. We understand there is a big distance for you to personally submit the applications. However we don’t require the applicants do it themselves. Anyone who you trust can do it for you. In the past, we have had people passing their applications through their friends, relatives, family, or even cab drivers.

The program doesn’t require the applicant to take TOEFL iBT or IELTS exams at the moment of application submission. TOEFL tests will be arranged by TEA program staff for successful semi-finalists in April-May 2017. This means, if you are eligible to participate, you can submit your application package without a TOEFL or IELTS score report.

The eligible applicant must be currently working at the secondary level institutions. Despite your previous teaching experience at the secondary school and vocational college, you are not eligible to apply for 2018 TEA program.

Currently, English Social Studies (social studies, civics, history, or geography), Math Sciences, or Special Education teachers are eligible for the TEA program, but we don’t offer a program for IT teachers.

The eligible applicant must be current secondary school-level teacher, serving students between approximately 12 and 18 years of age. Teachers responsible for teaching additional grade levels must teach middle or high school students more than 50% of their work time in order to be eligible for the program.

As it is stated in the program eligibility requirements, only teachers who teach at secondary schools, academic lyceums or vocational colleges are eligible to apply. Unfortunately, those who teach at educational, consulting or language centers are not eligible to apply for TEA program.

If you have a valid one already, you absolutely can. But if you do not have a valid score report, you can still apply bearing in mind you meet all eligibility requirements. The program doesn’t require the applicant to take TOEFL iBT or IELTS exams at the moment of application submission.

The program is designed for full-time secondary school (academic lyceums and vocational colleges) teachers with a minimum of five-years teaching experience. Ministry of Education officials, full-time principals or educational administrators, full-time teacher trainers, private English Language tutors, and teachers from schools primarily serving expatriates are not eligible to participate in this program.
